Gray and Glittery

Today I really wanted to use the China Glaze Snow Globe that I bought last week.  It is this really pretty clear polish full of sparkly glitter. I decided that I would use my Deborah Lippmann Waking Up in Vegas with it, seeing that it is a color that I have had for awhile and also have never used. I was thinking that I could achieve this really pretty, delicate design.  Something about the gray and white seemed like it would work well together.

Here are the polish choices (I am using my Essie Adhesive Base again because the brand new bottle of China Glaze I bought last week broke, the neck snapped off!):
Here the the result of my design:

LESSON LEARNED: Put the glitter coat down FIRST, then tape using the gray.  I did use taping in order to get a nice line on the polish.
As I was looking at my result it started looking boring.  I pulled out my O.P.I. Skulls and Crossbones and added some dots.

I think it turned out pretty cute, but I definitely will put the glitter down first next time.  I think I will get a better looking and laying mani.
