Rememberance Day Nails

This mani is inspired by cutepolish.  When I saw her tutorial I knew I had to try it out!  She made it look so easy!  I spent 2 days practicing the poppy and I still don't think mine look as nice as hers.  I am not a great free hand artist but overall I don't think this mani turned out too bad.

For this mani I used the following polishes:
Essie First Base
Sinful Colors Snow Me White
OPI Quarter of a Cent-Cherry
China Glaze Liquid Leather

If you watch the tutorial you will see that I decided to use a different base color than the green.  I felt that the green would make it look too Christmasy.  Snow Me White is a nice thick and creamy white that applied nicely to my fingers.  I also added an accent finger in OPI Quarter of a Cent-Cherry.  I did apply 3 coats of the red to get a nice dark color.  I really do think that this is a beautiful red.

Here are the results!
