Snowflakes and Glitter

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas!  Mine was perfect!  I received some amazing prezzies and I will be sharing some of them with you later!

It has been kinda weird not having to do my nails everyday!  The Challenge was fun and I really enjoyed doing it but I am feeling less stress now that it's done! :)

The inspiration for tonights design came from 2 places.  First, the weather forecastors are predicting that we will receive 1 to 4 inches of snow tonight.  We haven't seen a lot of snow so far this winter so I knew I wanted to do snowflakes.  The second inspiration came from the lovely Kayla at Nails by Kayla Shevonne.  She posted her fourth favorite polish of 2011 today, which was China Glaze Lorelei's Tiara.  She did a fabulous design using snowflakes and this glitter.  I had purchased Lorelei's Tiara back in November and had yet to use it.  I LOVE this glitter, it is my favorite glitter polish right now!

First:
I applied 2 coats of Nina Ultra Pro Blue La La.  I have used this blue before and I love it!  It is an amazing blue!

Second:
I stamped my snowflakes using BM14 and one of my new Red Angle plates RA119.  For the stamping I used Sinful Colors Nail Art Bad Chick.

Third and Last:
I sponged on Lorelei's Tiara to the tips and added 2 coats of DL Addicted to Speed

Isn't this glitter so pretty!  I love the small silver with just a hint of blue!
