ASBMFChallenge Day 7: Glitter Tips

I was excited about this day because I was waiting to use 2 of my new butter LONDONs. The day that I found out that Macy's was selling butter LONDON, I went a little crazy.  butter LONDON created 2 polishes exclusively for Macy's, Alcopop and Thames.  I already shared Alcopop with you and today I am sharing Thames.

butter LONDON describes Thames as:

A soft, blue-green stunner, with just a tiny undercurrent of gold. Much like a dip in the Thames; it’s not a lacquer for the faint hearted, but you will be remembered for it.

Thames was a little on the thin side, so I applies 3 coats.  It really is a gorgeous metallic green.  Just like all of the butter LONDONs I own, the application was flawless.  The really interesting thing about this polish is the way the color changes depending on the light, and just look at that shimmer!  Gorgeous!

Of course this post is all about glitter tips, so back to the mani!  The other BL I was waiting to use is Henley Regatta.  I absolutely love BL glitters.  They are always amazing colors and they are tiny glitters, which makes for wonderful application.  The only downside I have found is that they can get thick.  But a little thinner and problem solved!

butter LONDON describes Henley Regatta as:

This lacquer glitters like the Thames on a sunny day — a fusion of green and blue glitter that varies in intensity depending on the light. Beautiful!

Without reading the description I knew that these two polishes would look beautiful together.  After reading it, you see that they are both influenced by the Thames!  Perfect!
