Color Club Cracked Circus

This next design I have to share has a lot going on.  It got away from me and turned into something crazy.  Not to say I don't like it, because I do, its just very busy!  Once you see the end you will completely understand the title of this post.

I started with 2 coats of an unnamed Color Club polish.  This came in a set that I purchased at Ross, no names on the back!  It is a pretty, dark pink.  It was opaque in 2 coats and has a great formula.  Easy application.  You'll see in the pictures how my camera did not like this color.  It is completely different in fluorescent light than natural. Of course the natural light shows the true color.

My next step was to add some stripes using the Art Club Polishes that I picked up at Cosmo Prof.  The colors are Mint, Lilac Hologram and White.  The awesomeness of the holo did not translate from the bottle.  :(  My stripes were looking a little like a circus tent.

I decided to add a stamp using BM208 and Zoya Robyn.  It just seemed like the stripes needed something.  This is were the cracked circus idea came from!

Robyn didn't make that big of a statement so I went back and added another layer using China Glaze Liquid Leather

Finished with 2 coats of NYC.

I know that there is a lot going on with this design, but I really like it.  It is not something that I would normally wear.  Maybe that's why I like it. :)

  9. Also I actually reckoned the mani looked nicer without the extra darker layer of the twiggy bits.

  12. It doesn't look bad with the stamping, but my preference is just the stripes. They are so cute!
