So you can see why I was excited about this challenge! I didn't want to do the same old flower design, so once again I did some googling! This is the picture that instantly grabbed my attention:
Now the steps of how I interpretted the picture.
I wanted a neutral base, so I applied 2 coats of BL Nail Foundation.
Second, I added my grass using Sinful Colors Nail Art in Jungle and Color Club Stripper in Mint.
Third, using a makeup sponge and OPI Funky Dunkey I added the purple flowers.
Fourth, I added the reddish/purple flowers using a sponge and China Glaze Ahoy.
Fifth, for the yellow flower, sponging and Zoya Pippa.
Sixth, I thought the flowers lack something, so I added some black lines using Sinful Colors Nail Art in Time Off. Would you call these pistels?
Lastly, I topped off the design with NYC. I didn't wait long enough and got some streaking. :(
I really like how my interpretation turned out and its not the typically flower mani.
