LDS Challenge: Day 6 - Pool Party

For this challenge I really wanted to focus on my free hand skills.  I know that this is an area that still needs a lot of work, my drawing can really suck! :)  However, I feel that a design has more to it when it is free hand.  I guess I feel like more of an "artist" when free handing instead of just adding a stamp.

For the design I decided to do things you would see at a pool party.  That sounds like a game show!  I started with 2 coats of butter LONDON Blagger.

First, I added bikinis to my middle finger.  I used my dotting tools, China Glaze Under the Boardwalk, Zoya Pippa and Essence Wake Up.

My second design is a splash on my ring finger, like someone just jumped in the pool.  For this I used a stripping brush, Milani White on the Spot and Zoya Robyn.  I just went back and forth with the polish, kind of blending, to get the splash.

The next design is on my index finger.  I created beach towels using a striping brush, Milani White on the Spot, BL Blagger, China Glaze I'm With the Lifeguard and Sun-Kissed.

I then went back and outlined the towels with Essence Black is Back.

The next design didn't turn out that great.  It is supposed to be a red Solo cup holding a yummy, poolside drink.  I used Nailtiques Moscow, Essence Black is Back and a striping brush.

I used 2 coats of NYC to top everything off.

So what do you think of my pool party?
