Summer Challenge: Day - 27 Independence Day

I LOVE the Fourth of July!  The main reason is that this is the time of the year that the hubby and I go on vacation!  Every year we travel to New England with the main part of our vacation spent in Maine.   I am completely in love with Maine! I would love to live there but the hubby keeps telling me no. :(
Today we are in Bar Harbor on Mount Desert Island and tonight we will be sitting near the water watching a fabulous fireworks display.

For today's challenge I decided to do a sponging design.  I started with 1 coat of Milani White on the Spot.

I sponged a red section using an eye shadow sponge and Nailtiques Moscow.

Next I sponged on my blue using China Glaze Ride the Waves.  Yes, I know have purple but don't worry my next step will cover that.

I was able to acquire some pretty awesome red, white and blue glitters recently, so of course I had to use them for Independence Day!  Using my brand new Nails Inc, limited edition, Jubilee, I sponged a section in the middle of my nail. This is an amazing glitter!  I am in awe with the coverage.  Love it! :)

Next, I applied Pretty & Polished Freedom Calling.   I didn't sponge this glitter, instead I just applied it towards the tips and fished out some of the bigger glitter.

These glitters are out of this world!  I am rocking 4th of July party nails!!

And no, I am not blogging during vacation, my hubby would kill me!  I'm obsessed but not crazy! :)
