Okay, so I think that golf is probably the boring-est sport in the universe. I have no interest in the Open and it is not on my summer viewing guide, sorry Golfers! I do remember when the Open was played 15mins from the town I grew up in and the excitement surrounding it. I even had a couple friends get jobs at the Open when it was close to home, I still didn't care. I'd rather take a nap! :)
Before I get to the mani, I have to show my butter LONDON haul. The bottom row is the Fall 2012 Collection, left to right, Shag, Lovely Jubbly, Gobsmacked, Trustafarian and Dodgy Barnett. The 2 polishes on top are Brummie and Squatter. I also got the 3 removers and Melt Away.
On to the mani!
I decided to just do a simple golf green, with the hole and flags. It did cross my mind to do a golf pant design but I contained myself.
I started by applying 2 coats of Joe Fresh Wave, for my blue sky.
Next, I added my green grass. All I did was apply NYC High Line Green like I would if I was doing clouds.
I added my flag poles using Sinful Colors Nail Art in Time Off.
Using a dotting tool and China Glaze Liquid Leather, I added the holes.
I drew on the flags using Jordana Pop Art in Fashion Forward.
And 2 coats of NYC.
Even though I don't like golf I do like my golf nails. I think they look pretty nice! :)
