Red Week: Day 2 - OPI Cheery Cherry and Some Abstract Nail Art

Let's start today's post with another gorgeous red, OPI Cheery Cherry.  Cheery Cherry is my second favorite red.  To me it fits into the category of what a red nail polish should look like.  I know that I have had this polish for a long time but I don't know much about it.  I tried to do some research on it, but Google came up dry when I typed it in the search box.  I can't remember when it came out or what collection it was part of, but I can tell you that it has a really nice scent.  I swear!! It smells sweet!

I have found out why I couldn't find any information about this polish! I have been calling it Cherry Cherry since the day I bought it when it is actually Cheery Cherry.   This polish was an Ulta 2006 Exclusive. All this is thanks to a fellow polish-oholic that I am calling the OPI Queen!

This is 2 coats of Cheery Cherry and 1 coat of NYC.  I added a bottle shot because I was trying to capture the golden shimmer in the polish.  It really makes this polish something special.

Now for the nail art!  I finally received the nail art brushes that I ordered from Born Pretty so I really wanted to use them.  I decided to do an all red, abstract design, something different on each nail.  I didn't take pictures of each step because I was really just playing around.

I started with OPI Edin-Burgundy from yesterday and then added my designs starting with China Glaze Velvet Bow, then OPI Bogota Blackberry and lastly OPI Sanguine.  I topped it off with 1 coat of HK Girl.

I love what Sanguine added to the designs, so pretty!

Don't forget to check out what these lovely ladies came up with!
