Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate Review

Awhile back I was contacted by Daisy at Born Pretty to review their products.  After looking over their stock I decided to go with a stamping plate, of course!  Really are you surprised! :)

There is some reasoning behind the plate that I picked, Kand Nail Plate CK-02. With Halloween coming up I had to have the spider web!  Yep, doesn't take much to make me happy!

When I opened the package, I have to say I was a tad surprised.  The designs of the plate are so small. I have small nail beds, but not that small.  Have a look:

Just because they are small does not mean they are not usable!  Why do we have to stamp our whole nail?  What about layering?  There are still a lot of fun things you can do with the stamps!

Here is the spiderweb stamp, which was too small, using the stamps just on my tips and the full stamp on my pinky. I used Milani Black Swift to stamp on top of Milani White on the Spot.

I did some layering using Milani Jiffy Orange.

See what I mean?!?!?  You can make these stamps work.  Just imagine all the fun designs you can create!

If you would like to order this plate or other products from Born Pretty, use the code below to save 10%!

CORRECTION:  Upon further review of this plate I have learned that it is not designed for the whole nail.  It was created to add decoration not full nail stamping.  As I already demonstrated above, it does offer a different method of stamping, which can turn out pretty neat.
If you are interested in a full nail design, Born Pretty does offer a set of 16 Plates.  I have not used, reviewed, them so I cannot give an honest opinion about this set.

  3. The Born Pretty plates were actually the ones that I first got and was so upset to see how small they were, but after emailing with you, I learned how usable they can really be! Great illustration of how to layer - I think I should pull those plates out and try again!

  8. Those are the 1st and only plates I bought and they are way too small for my nail beds. I was very disappointed. I wrote to them and they offered no resolution. If I decide to attempt stamping again I will order Mash or Cheeky. i cant decide which one. Do you have an opinion?
