FIA Challenge: Day 6 - Autumn Leaves

I decided to try some free hand art with this design.  I noticed that lately I have been doing a lot of stamping for designs and I really want to work on my free hand.  I sometimes think that I am cheating a little when I rely so much on stamping! :)

My design started with my base colors: MAC Sly As A Fox on my middle finger and thumb, MAC Style Clan on my pinky and index fingers and Zoya Pippa on my ring finger.  I picked up the 2 MAC polishes a couple years ago, used them once and then forgot about them.  These two polishes scream fall, which is why I bought them.  And just look at Style Clan...do you see the glitter??? How gorgeous! (2 coats of each color)

Using a eye shadow applicator, I sponged the polishes on to each finger.

To add the veins of my leaves I used a nail art brush, OPI Cointreau-Versial Chocolate and Warm and Fozzie.  I topped it off with 2 coats of HK Girl.

I love how the design turned out, but I do wish I would have used a thinner brush for the veins.  I really love the colors!
