FIA Challenge: Day 8 - Halloween - Hare Polish The Monster Review and Art

Happy Thursday my fabulous readers new and old!  Today's FIA Challenge is all about Halloween!

By this time everyone should know about my love of Hare Polish.  It's a fairly recent love and well deserved.  My collection is slowly growing.  I was able to get my hands on 6 from the new Fall collections, just waiting for them to arrive!
My most recent Hare to arrive in the mail was The Monster.  It is gorgeous, just look!

Isn't it cool?!?!  I love the little black and teal glitter.  The teal was hard to capture in the photo.  This is a polish that you really need to see in person.  Stunning!
I applied 2 coats. Application was like butter!

I knew from the moment I received this polish that it would be the base for some Halloween nail art!  Of course I has to do Frankenstein's Monster!
I started by adding the hair, using a nail art brush and China Glaze Liquid Leather.

Using my dotting tools, Liquid Leather, NYC French Tip White and OPI Cheery Cherry, I added the eyes.

For the nose and mouth I used a stripper and Liquid Leather.

I topped it off with 1 coat of HK Girl and 1 coat of NYC.

I did experience some disappointment with this design...bubbles! I HATE bubbles! I got so annoyed with the bubbles that I ended up taking it off after a couple hours!  If it wasn't for the bubbles I would have totally loved this mani!

So the bubble issue.....was it from the Hare polish or the top coat?
