Halloween Retro/70s Stamp

Once again, I have a design that looked better in my head than on my nails!  I do like parts of it but overall I was disappointed.

I started with 2 coats of OPI hi, Pumpkin.  I really like this orange, and I'm not a big fan of orange polishes.  I just like the creaminess this orange has and it really is a perfect Halloween orange. It was a tad streaky, even though you can't see it in the pictures.

For my stamp I used Milani Black Swift and BM322.

I decided to add a little purple to the design using a dotting tool and Essence Fashion Forward.  I think I should have dotted the other circles.  I also added a coat of Northern Lights.

I think what really turned me off with this design is that I messed up my stamp.  It's not horrible just not what I wanted.

  1. Too bad the circles aren't really circles on your middle finger. But I love the idea of the design :D.xx

  6. The purple really nails it. I think covering all the circles would of taken away from the final finish. gorgeous, as always :D
