FIA Challenge: Day 10 - Favorite Sweater

I had a couple different ideas for today's challenge.  My all time favorite sweater is/are cable knit sweaters.  A cable knit is a true symbol of fall/winter for me.  I actually haven't owned one in a long time but I found a Michael Kors cable knit that will be mine!  I was going to do this design but I couldn't find the right color combination that would turn out the way I wanted. I know, amazing that I didn't have the right colors, when I have 2 Helmers full of nail polish!

In the end I decided to go with argyle.  Every time I see an argyle sweater in a store I am always drawn to it.   I use to own a whole bunch of argyle sweaters but I think I only have 2 now.

After all the Halloween designs I wanted to do something toned down, which lead to my color choice.

I started with Essie Skirting the Issue.  This is a gorgeous burgundy polish.  I was surprised to find out that it a jelly.  I ended up applying 3 coats in order to get a nice dark color.  Because of the jelly finish it is so squishy and yummy!

For my argyle, I used KONAD m60 and Milani Black Swift.  I also topped it off with 2 coats of HK Girl.

It is actually really hard to see the design but I do like the darkness.  It seems very appropriate for the weather we are experiencing right now.  Haven't seen the sunshine about a week. :(
