Sat-ART-Day Club - One Stroke Mani

I totally took the easy way out with this challenge.  I did not have faith in myself to pull of the fancy one stroke mani so I decided to put my own spin on the idea.  Hopefully I won't get kicked out of the group for this!

During a recent shopping trip I went into Charlotte Russe with my niece and found 2 beautiful polishes.  I pulled both out to complete this design.

I started with 2 coats of Love, Charlotte Teal and Dark Purple. This is gorgeous teal but I had some serious staining!  I couldn't get the color off my skin or cuticles.  I was really upset because the color is awesome!

A close up of the staining on my pinky.

To meet the theme, I added one stroke of the opposite color to each nail.  Isn't the rubber finish cool?

Topped off with 1 coat of HK Girl.

These colors are so stunning, which makes the disappointment so bad!

  6. I love your creativity of the "one stroke mani," lol. :-) That teal is absolutely stunning on you. I know what you mean about the staining. I have such a had time getting my cuticles clean, let alone when it's a darker color, or a stainer.

  7. These colours look amazing together! Such a bummer about the staining though, teals are some of my favourite polishes but it seems like so many stain :(
