Sation Nail Polish Swatches and Review

I have another new to me polish collection to share with you today.  I have never seen this polish other than on some other bloggers pages.  This made me very interested and I knew that all of you would love to learn about another polish company! :) Yes, I am an enabler!

The polish is from Miss Professional Nail and the line is called Sation. Here is some information about each line.

Peace, Love & Lacquer Collection:

Miss Professional Nail (Miss) announces the launch of its Limited III Collection,“Nailstock,” a colorful tribute to peace, love & artistic diversity. In a world where constant change is rapidly evolving, from economical to technological, spiritual reflection and authentic human connections are more special and sought-after than ever.

When Creative Director Staci Dao wanted to celebrate indie expression and universal creativity, she quickly looked to Woodstock as the gold standard of boho-bonding events.  Nailstock’s varied collection of misfit souls features twelve rockin’ shades packed with nostalgic cultural references including: “Gimme Jimi,” “3 Free-dom,” “RV There Yet?” and “I Paint in Peace.”

Rich, earthy neutrals and vibrant, unconventional hues offer something for everyone. The woodsy environment and rainy, mud-splattered moments represent the offbeat nature of Woodstock’s legendary impact. Let hand-painted harmony take center stage and embrace your grooviest self, with nails to tie-dye for. Nailstock will be available at your local beauty supply and online in September.

"I Love Miss-Self" Reality Show Collection:

Miss Professional Nail (Miss) announces the launch of its Glitter I Series, the “I Love Miss-self” Reality Show, a sassy, tongue-in-cheek spin on the sensation that has swept the nation off its stilettos. Sation’s glittery gala puts the fun in dysfunctional by saying buh-bye to Brady Bunch banter, and hello to hi-def hair-pulling and backstage drama. Miss’ Creative Director Staci Dao found inspiration for this collection by merging the glitz and glamour of showbiz with the opulent, jewel-toned gems of the season.

From fame-chasers to trophy wives, this humorous race to the Hollywood finish line is a fun, flashy ride into our pop-goes-the-beauty universe. “I Love Miss-self” joins the Fall lineup with a sparkling set of  stars, including: Calorie Countess; Miss Pro-nup; Tall, Dark & Has Some; Paparazzi Pet; No Rings Attached and Oh My Gaudy.

The 24-color collection features a cast of multi-glitter and foil finishes: holographic, flakey, bar, kaleidoscope and more. These glitters are ideal for layering over neutrals and staple colors, or simply to play up your signature style. Tune in to ‘I Love Miss-self’ on www.misspn.com, and don’t miss its September debut at your local beauty supply.

I have a fabulous selection from both collections to share with you!

Down & Dirty Flirty
This is a light nude polish with a pink tone, very flesh color.  I applied 2 coats, without a base or top coat.  Great formula and easy application.  If you are looking for the perfect flesh tone, this is it!

Twinkle, Twinkle Big Star
I added 1 coat of this glitter.  I love the mixture of large and small glitter. The only problem I had was that the larger glitter did not want to stay put, but you do get nice coverage with the 1 coat.
Shown without a top coat.

RV There Yet?
I am loving this teal polish!  Such an amazing color!  I added 2 coats, without a base or top coat.  The formula was a tad runny but workable.  It has a finish very similar to a jelly.  Such a gorgeous color!

Go-Glitter Girl
I really love this glitter mixture but there was this weird separation thing happening.  No matter how much a mixed the polish the larger glitter kept falling to the bottom and I couldn't get to it.  This was very sad because it has the most interesting glitter!  I really love the neon green!

1 coat shown without a top coat.

Front Row Flasher
This is a beautiful burnt red with orange shimmer.  I applied 2 coats, without a base or top coat.  The formula with this polish was perfect and easy to apply. Love the shimmer!

I Love Miss-Self
This glitter is simply stunning!  I had amazing coverage in one coat and the tinted base turned everything raspberry!  Shown without a top coat.

Overall I have to say that I am impressed with these polishes.  There were some small issues and other than Go-Glitter Girl, nothing that can't be worked with.  I am so in love with the last combo, Front Row Flasher and I Love Miss-Self.  These 2 together are so beautiful!  There are a couple other polishes in these collections that I am adding to the wishlist! :)

  3. I like all the Sation polishes I've got. I've also encountered that separation you're talking about - that was with a green/black shredded glitter called Ego-Friendly. It separated within minutes.
