"Urban Christian Culture magazine is a quarterly publication based in Brooklyn, NY. The magazine is a platform for the advancement of young urban Christian artists, and a lifestyle guide for young Christians. We handle all topics affecting young people, just from a Christian perspective."
I did not know this magazine existed until the editor contacted me, but I am always open to considering a collaboration and they sounded like good people! :)
Of course I had to share my design with you!
There are a lot of nail art techniques out there that are very simple to recreate. The tape technique has been around for a while and offers an easy method to turn your manicure into something special.
What you will need:
- 3 polish colors
- Base coat
- Fast drying top coat
- Scotch tape
Apply your base coat, bottom polish, I used Sinful Colors Slate, and one coat of you fast drying top coat.
Allow for dry time, 10 – 15 minutes.
Tape off a section of your nail with a piece of Scotch Tape and apply your second color, I used Sinful Colors Winterberry. I do one nail at a time and carefully remove the tape. Don’t rip it off; you may take the polish with you!
Apply another coat of your fast drying top coat and allow for dry time.
Using another piece of Scotch Tape, tape off another section of your nail and add your third color. I used Sinful Colors Fig.
Finish off your manicure with another coat of your fast drying top coat.
It is that easy to create a fun and interesting manicure that people think you paid for!
