Let It Snow! Challenge: Day 2 - Inspired By a Holiday Movie/Song/Carol

When I started thinking about this challenge I wanted to do something with one of my favorite Christmas movies, problem is that I have 4 favorites!  I guess I could have done a different movie on each nail, but that would be a bit much!

After going through many ideas I decided on A White Christmas.  I love everything about this movie, the setting, the actors, the story, the songs!  Every time I watch it I get that warm and fuzzy holiday feeling!

I started with 1 coat of Milani White on the Spot.

I added some trees using BM202 and Essie No Place Like Chrome.

I added a pop of color using Essie Blue Rhapsody and GA41.

I dabbed on some Sonnetarium Snowfall for some depth.

I topped it off with 2 coats of HK Girl.

So wintery!

In case you are interested here are my other favorite Christmas movies.  No Christmas is complete without these!

A Christmas Story~National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation~Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas

  1. This is such a cozy looking mani, lol. I love it!

  2. The wee trees are so cute. I watched National Lampoons the other night, it was awesome. :)

  3. It's pretty. I liked it better without the "snow" though, I think it takes over a bit too much. But that's probably just me :)

  4. Ok girl, your winter/Christmas manis are blowing my MIND. I am loving every second of this challenge. Keep on doin' what you're doin'!

  5. I need help! My school doesn't allow nail polish, so I wanted to do my toes (which they can't see). I have no stamps, but I am pretty good a free hand painting. Nothing I've found can be done on toes. Does anyone has suggestions on what do with my nails? Also, I usually just do a design on the big toe, then solid color on the rest ( My last mani was pink, green, and blue plaid on big toe, and my other toes were pink)

    1. Wow,no nail polish??? That would kill me! You should do something Christmas-y! :)

    2. It does kill me! Do you have any ideas for what sort of christmas design I should do? Thanks!

    3. You could do Christmas Trees, lights, wreaths, colorblock, dots, so many different things. :)
