Urban Lacquer Review and Swatches

I am taking a short break from all the Christmas designs to share a "new-to me" polish!  I was contacted a few weeks ago by Brenda the creator of Urban Lacquer to review some of her polishes.  Urban Lacquer is a fairly new indie polish, the shop opened in October.  I have seen some other bloggers featuring her polishes so I was very excited to see what she would send!

First, I had to share the packaging!! Look at how cute she boxed everything!

And here is the selection I was sent...don't they look pretty!?!?!

Take It Offline
"Looking for a polish that can be worn to the office? Not really interested in glitter polishes? If so, UL's CEO Collection polishes are for you! Take It Offline is one of the first polishes in UL's CEO Collection, and is a stunning copper-gold color."

This is a stunning burnt gold polish that has a beautiful shimmer/foil.  I applied 2 coats without a base or top coat.

Ethereal Girl
"Ethereal Girl is a bewitching, sea foam green polish, with a softly reflective, silver sheen. This polish is smooth, subtle, and stunning at the same time."

I really didn't know how to describe this color!  I was calling it teal, but it is so much more than that!  It is another stunning shimmer/foil!  I applied 2 coats, without a base or top coat.

Synergy
"Looking for a polish that can be worn to the office? Not really interested in glitter polishes? If so, UL's CEO Collection polishes are for you! Synergy is one of the first polishes in the CEO Collection, and is a gorgeous maroon blend, with blue-green micro shimmer."

This is another color that I had trouble describing!  It is maroon but it's more than that..so hard to describe!  It has the same shimmer/foil formula but it has the added beauty of a blue shimmer.  Gorgeous!
It was really hard to capture the true beauty of this polish.  I applied 2 coats, without a base or top coat.

Party In Your Polish
"Party In Your Polish is an exciting blend of red, orange, gold, blue, green, and purple glitter in a sheer black jelly base. This would be a perfect glitterbomb polish to wear to a New Year's Eve party. This rainbow blend of glitter works well over any color base coat - I personally love to wear it over black. Wear this one to your next party!"

This is an amazing glitter mix!  Best part was the coverage with 1 coat!  I added 1 coat to Synergy, no top coat.

Hurry Me Up
"Hurry Me Up is a unique blend of micro iridescent pink flakies, neon yellow hex glitter, and black shredded glitter in a clear base. Works best as a glitter topper, although can be worn alone, when applying 3-4 coats. The micro pink flakies will shift from pink to purple, and is a perfect "going out" polish!"

This is such a cool polish!  I love the neon green matte glitter and black shred!  It has a much deeper fuschia tone in person.  I applied 2 coats, without a base or top coat.

Overall I am very satisfied with these polishes.  The formula for all of them was perfect!  Of course you do need to be careful with the shimmer/foils because of the brush strokes showing, but that is typical with these types of polishes.

These beauties and others can be purchased for $9.00 at Urban Lacquer.
