Today's inspiration comes from this beautiful painting by Klimt:
I decided to focus on the scroll work in the painting.
I started with 2 coats of Essie Sand Tropez, which was a little darker than I wanted. I also added 1 coat of HK Girl, to make the next step easier.
To add the scroll work, I used a Sephora by OPI Nail Design Pen in gold. I actually picked up 4 of these at TJ Maxx for $3.99 each, fab deal!
The pen was actually very easy to use and I am so glad I picked them up! I was worried that they would be crappy, but I was pleasantly surprised!
I think adding the top coat helped because the polish wasn't tacky.
I am going to have so much fun with these pens!
Super pretty, and it really looks like you used a stamp, you drew on the swirls so perfectly!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! The swirls look so clean and perfect!
