Zoya Pixie Dust Swatches and Review

Today I have a collection that everyone was talking about when Zoya announced them...Pixie Dust.

Zoya PixieDust Nail Polish Collection
Infused with magic and wonder! The latest "must-have" nail polish finish - textured, matte and sparkling! This newly developed formula is sure to captivate with a magical sparkle and sugary finish like no other. The color experts at Zoya have created six, long-wearing stunners for the introduction of this enchanting look.

First up is Vespa and Nyx:

Vespa - best described as a Mint Kiss with a sugared sparkle

NYXbest described as a perfect periwinkle with a sugared sparkle

I applied 3 coats of both, no base coat.

Next, Chyna and Dahlia:

Chynabest described as a red dazzle with a sugared sparkle

Dahliabest described as a black beauty with a sugared sparkle

I applied 2 coats, no base.

Last combo, Godiva and London:

Godivabest described as a soft nude with a sugared sparkle

Londonbest described as a fog gray with a sugared sparkle

I applied 2 coats, no base coat.

Compared to the only other texture polish I have used, Pixie Dust has a much more grainery feel to it, almost sandy.  The application process was very smooth and easy.  Zoya recommends not using a base or top coat and applying 1-3 coats.  It takes about 10 minutes for the polish to completely dry.

Texture is not something that I could stand to wear everyday, but I could see myself wearing these for something special or to be included in a special design.

These polishes can be purchased for $9 at Zoya.com or your local Zoya dealer.

*These polishes were provided for my honest review.*

  1. These are very pretty. I honestly didn't expect to like them very much, but the nude is my new fave, lol.

  2. I like Vespa. I don't know if I like the texture thing yet, but I do like the color. Maybe I will have to go try a sample and see how it wears and if I pick at it too much.
