Cheeky Dragonflies

I am having so much fun with my new set of Cheeky Jumbo Plates!  The images are fabulous and so is the manufacturing!

Nail polish is not the only love of my life, long before my obsession with nail polish I collected all things dragonfly.  Not that my house is covered in dragonflies, but I have select pieces and I tend to gravitate towards things with dragonflies.  When I saw that the Wild at Heart plate has a dragonfly image I had to have it!

For the base of my design I used one of my brand new Essence Floral Grunge polishes that I was sent by the wonderful Gin Shivers.  She was kind enough to search high and low to get me these polishes as well as the Catrice set she sent me!

I applied two coats of Be Flowerful.

I added my dragonflies using JP7, 9 and Bettina Sherbet.

I thought my dragonflies needed some sparkle so I added a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust.

I love how bright and fun this design is!  There was a time, not that long ago, that orange polishes were not a favorite.  I have added some really gorgeous oranges shades to my collection lately and I am now an orange lover, but only in certain tones.

  8. Ahhhh I've been wanting to get new plates and have been eyeing some of the Cheeky Jumbo plates, but I can't make a decision!
P.S. real life dragonflies terrify me...they're gigantic flying insects. This is coming from someone who is afraid of lady bugs and butterflies lol.
