butter LONDON Limited Edition Pop Art Collection - The Nail Polishes - Review and Swatches

Today I have a butter LONDON Limited Edition Collection that launched in May/June.  The three shades in this collection are fun and bright.  First some information about the collection.

Harness your inner fashion diva and create catwalk looks with Pop Art: a new, limited edition collection of wearable brights from butter LONDON. Hot off the runway, these shades will take your favourite looks to the next level.

When it comes to adding a pop of colour, there’s no better place than your lips or tips,” says Katie Hughes, Global Colour Ambassador. “These LIPPY’s are creamy and buildable, so layer for a deeper colour or blot with a tissue for a satin finish. For bold, notice me nails, these lacquers deliver a perfect burst of colour. They’re also ideal for creating nail art that will stand out on any skin tone.”

As you can see this collection contains two shades from the butter LONDON core collection and one brand new shade.

I applied three coats of Cheeky Chops, which is one of my favorite yellows!  Primrose Hill Picnic is a shade that I have been wanting to add to the collection for awhile and I am not disappointed!  I applied two coats of this "tropical pink."  And the brand new shade is Keks.  Keks is described as a "blue creme", but it is so much more!  This blue is amazing!

When butter LONDON released photos of this collection they did a dotticure that I HAD to recreate!

I just added some random dots, no order.  It has a very fun and summery look to it!

These colors are fabulous together!  I can see some summer manis in the future with these shades!
I do have to say one thing though...I did have some staining with Keks, so make sure you use a base polish.

butter LONDON Lacquers are formulated WITHOUT:
• Formaldehyde
• Toluene
• DBP (phthalates)
• Camphor
• Formaldehyde resin

Launch: May/June 2013
Price: $15 each for the Nail Lacquers; $17 each for the LIPPY’s

  3. I love the dots, they look so cool! I thought the pink would be a lot brighter but it's still really nice. Great colours.
