Sunday Stamping - Inspired By the 70s

I have to say that I really struggled with today's challenge!  I thought I had an idea, tried to pull it off, polish I wanted to use was horrible, hit a brick wall!  Then I spent half a day staring at my stamping plates trying to come up with a new idea.  I was suffering from severe polish block!  In the end I remembered an image that screamed 70s retro table cloth the first time I saw it!

I started with two coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls.

I added my 70s table cloth using PUEEN25, Barry M Watermelon and Satsuma.  I went back and added some Satsuma dots to make the design more interesting.

It is the image on my ring finger that really screams 70s to me!  It has a fabulous retro feel to it!

I am taking a minute to include a picture of my all time favorite top coat, HK Girl.  This is the only top coat I use.  My designs never smear, no bubbles and no shrinkage.  There has been a lot of talk about this top coat the past couple weeks and I felt that I needed to add my two cents!  I have been using HK Girl for over a year now and I am 100% loyal to it, nothing else on the market comes close to this top coat!  And I can't forget that the dry time is amazing and there is some serious shine!
I order all my HK Girl from Jill at Glisten & Glow!

It took me awhile to get to this design but I am so happy with the end result! It has that retro 70s feel that I was looking for and the image is amazing!

    1. Hi Marissa! For someone starting out with stamping I recommend the PUEEN set. The images are cut perfectly making it easier for someone just starting out! You can purchase them through Amazon. :)

  6. I am convinced that you would have a stamp of my face if you needed it. Okay, not quite, but y'know. Your ability to match stamps to themes is just unreal! Great job and bang on as usual x
