Nicole by OPI New Modern Family Shades for the Holidays

I hope everyone is recovering from all your holiday celebrating.  I wish I was, but I must continue today with more holiday company.  It will be nice to have a day were I can relax and do whatever I want...after all this is my holiday vacation!  As a break from all the holiday manicures, today I have swatches of the new Modern Family lacquers from NOPI.

Nicole by OPI announces new limited edition Modern Family Holiday nail lacquers! Featuring five shimmering shades – classic blue, rich scarlet, royal purple, holographic glitter and multi-dimensional gold – these holiday-inspired hues offer a range of color that can be used to create on-trend, seasonal nail looks.
“These festive lacquers make it easy to get into the holiday spirit!” declares Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, Nicole by OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “With rich jewel tones and glitter, Modern Family Holiday shades add classic color and sparkle to winter weather fashion, turning manicures into bejeweled accessories for special holiday occasions.”
The new Modern Family Holiday nail lacquers from Nicole by OPI include:
Late Blu-merVintage blue jeans that have stood the test of time.

Spark the Conversation
This holographic glitter coat is the talk of the town.

Who Red My Journal???
This scandalous scarlet is private property!

You're My Treasure
This three-dimensional gold has riches beyond my wildest dreams.

Aren't Families Grape?A dramatic royal purple worthy of any sibling rivalry.

First up is a combo of Late Blu-mer and Spark the Conversation.

Late Blu-mer is a beautiful blue shimmer that applied fantastic, however I am not a fan of Spark the Conversation.  It was difficult to apply and as you can see I tried a couple different applications.  I was sadden by this because I LOVE square glitter.

My next combo is Who Red My Journal?? and You're My Treasure.  I found this polish to be more of a fiery, orange instead of red.  It is a pretty shimmer and again applied beautifully.  You're My Treasure applied much better, however the larger diamond glitter was difficult to get out of the bottle.

The last polish is the one I complete adore!  This is two coats of Aren't Families Grape?. This dark and yummy purple shimmer is a stunner!

I decided to matte it using the new NOPI Matte Top Coat.  Amazing!

For all these swatches I used the new NOPI Nail Treatments.
