The Digit-al Dozen Does: Texture - Gradient

Guess what?!?! It is time for another Digit-al Dozen theme week!  This week is all about texture.  At first I was feeling kind of ho-hum about the theme. I wasn't really sure what I was going to do and I had no ideas.  Then I went into my nail room Sunday morning and within fifteen minutes of looking at all my textures I knew what five manicures I was going to do!  I am always looking for new and interesting ways to use my textures and this week gives me a chance to do that!

I decided to keep today's design simple and easy. I wanted the first manicure to stand out yet be something you can do at home.

I started with two coats of OPI Jinx.  The texture is perfect for Spring and Summer. It is so bright and cheerful!

The next turned out so much better than I thought it would!  I used a make-up sponge to dab Honey Ryder to the tips.

It is amazing how such a simple technique can transform a manicure into something breathtaking!  It looks like gold dust!  Yep, completely loving this manicure!

  2. Awesome colour combination! I'm jealous; I only have 3 ideas for mani's and have them done; still two to do!
