This is such an exciting month for the NCC! Not only do we have a fun theme but we have some new ladies! Make sure you check them out! Just click on their links at the end of the post. I can't wait to see their first manicures!
This month's theme covers three categories: Music, Movies and TV. I always love doing this theme because I usually have tons of inspiration. For some reason when I did my first design I thought we were also doing books. I knew the theme so I don't know why I thought books. Anyway, the design was too good not to use it. So here is my theory, I based my manicure off a series I just starting re-reading, the Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes mysteries by Laurie King. I reads these books years ago and decided to revisit them. The very first book is called The Language of Bees, which is were my design came from. I can still use it for this month's theme because it is Sherlock Holmes which has many movie and TV versions...especially the most recent which I LOVE! So see, it all ties together very nicely!
I know you just want the design!
I started with two coats of Misa Tumble Bug, which I am loving!
I added a honeycomb image using OPI Cointrea-Versial Chocolate and W113.
Using Milani Black Swift I added some bees from B88 and a Sherlock image from Jr-31.
I love this design! There was no way I was going to not use it for the theme. Totally works!
I love the bees on the honeycomb! Super job (as always)!
