The Digit-al Dozen Does: Decades - 50's Space Adventure

For today's design I kept it simple but nostalgic.  I have always loved the space images and designs of the 50s.  There is just something about them that feels so wholesome and fun.  (maybe that's just me!)  I think of little boys playing spaceman and wondering what is out there.  Most of all their bedrooms decorated with fun patterns like this:


I love the colors in this pattern, and it spoke to me as soon as I saw it! I did add something extra!

My extra was to use a texture base.  I applied two coats of Zoya London, which has this fantastic silver sparkle. Perfect for my stars!


I used space images from CH46 and applied them using Barry M Greenberry.






This might be a simple design but it sure is fun!  Nothing like spending the day imagining a fun space adventure!

  5. Oh my gosh I love these!! So cute! And the color choices definitely make me think of those little glow in the dark plastic stars you can stick to the ceiling
