The Digit-al Dozen Does: Decades - The 80s - Bright and Geometric

Today's design is a homage to all the crazy, bright designs of the 80s.  Probably more of the late 80s.  When people thought wearing these patterns was the height of fashion.  Yes, I wore some of these patterns, but thankfully there are no pictures! (I think??)

My pattern is loosely based on a design I found online, but with my own spin.

I started with two coats of Barry M Greenberry.

I added my base design using White and PUEEN06.  This screams 80s, but I'm not done!

I added another image using butter LONDON Pimms and PUEEN06.

There is something about the green and yellow that I love in this design.  It has this great fresh feeling to it.  Not sure if I would wear this pattern on my clothes but I love it on my nails!
