To end this month's theme I finally have the design I was talking about on Monday! This was my bright moment and cause of excitement when I started working on my designs for the week. I am ecstatic to share it with you!
Day Five - Chain Link Fence
The base of my design is two coats of butter LONDON Poole. Poole had been sitting in the unswatched pile. I recently used it with some nail art but never swatched. I am loving this dusty turquoise!
I applied my chain link using butter LONDON Goss and GA7. These shades look amazing together!
I could have stopped with the chain link, however most of the fencing I have seen always has flowers/weeds growing up it. We have a stretch of chain link in our background and I spent a week pulling all the vines off it. With that in mind, I felt that my chain link needed some pretty vines and flowers!
I added my vines using Barry M Watermelon and BM309. My original idea only had the vines, but when I was looking at the finished product I felt that a pop of color was needed. I added a flower using Barry M Blackberry and MoYou Pro 08.
For me, this is the perfect design to end the week with! I am so glad that I got over the frustration of doing metal designs because I have loved every design I created this week. Plus what the other ladies came up with! Hope you enjoyed it too!
Your chainlink is perfection! I love it.

ReplyDeleteI love it! yours have to be the best take on this month's theme so far. I have the fence pattern and it always seems pretty meh! to me but your mani is such a source of inspiration to work with. And that base color, to die for. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAwh this is lovely! I love the colours and the stamping is spot on.
ReplyDeletethis is sooooo well composed. I absolutely love this one to pieces x
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful combination of colours and stamping style.
ReplyDeleteWow, wow, wow! Your mani is just awesome! *mind blown* I am always so amazed (and dance a happy gleeful dance) when I see this type of nail design so well done. I truly appreciate the thought that goes into creating it - the various polish colors, the stampings, the layout and, finally, the result! I also appreciate that at each stage of this mani, so many things could go wrong. Thanks so much for the wonderful pics!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!

ReplyDeleteWow! I really love this...without and without the flowers!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE this mani! In all honest, I am rather "stamping challenged", but I think I'll give it a try. BRAVO!
