The Digit-al Dozen Does: Metal - Workbox

Let me start by saying that I am not 100% sure I am calling this item by the correct name.  I have always called it a workbox.  You know those metal containers men put in the back of their pick-up trucks for their tools.  Whatever you want to call it, I recreated it on my nails!

Day Two - Workbox (Toolbox)

I will say that I might have used the wrong base for this design.  I think my metal is too sparkly.  I like the sparkle but it is not realistic for the metal.  I used one coat of OPI This Gown Needs A Crown.

Adding the next part of the design was a tad more difficult than I wanted.  My first choice of No Place Like Chrome didn't show and I had a hard time finding an appropriate shade that would.  In the end I used Catrice London's Weather Forecast and an image from SH220.

I decided to add some rust!  I mixed a little black to butter LONDON Sunbaker and dabbed it on.

I would totally own this sparkly toolbox!  I can keep my nail polish in it!
