butter LONDON Brick Lane Six Piece Set - Review/Swatches/Nail Art

Press Sample

More new lacquers!! Not only are they new, they are from butter LONDON!  Anytime I hear rumors about new bLs my heart starts beating faster.  Yep, complete soft spot for my bLs!

Let me tease you with some nail art!

If you haven't seen this set already -

The main thing you need to know about this set is that they are mini.  This makes me a little sad but I can deal.  The following shows the comparison between the mini and full size.

The lacquers -

Brick Lane - Full coverage, gold shimmer in deep pumpkin orange creme.  For some reason my camera decided to brighten this lacquer.  In person it is actually a beautiful burnt orange.  More like the bottle color.  I applied two coats.

Bric-A-Brac - Full coverage, flaring shimmers in saffron red gel-like base.  The reds and golds in this shimmer are fantastic!  I applied two coats.

Cor-Blimey - Full coverage, brilliant aubergine in matte-satin finish.  I am so in love with this purple!  It is just so dark and gorgeous!  I applied two coats.

Dubs - Full coverage, taupe glitter in 3D texture base.  I finally got to try a bL texture!  I am in love! This texture is stunning! I applied two coats.

East End - Full coverage, curry yellow in matte-satin finish.  Oh my goodness! A new yellow and it is brilliant! It's an ugly yellow and I am smitten!  I applied two coats.

Chocka - Full coverage, deep plum creme shimmer.  An exquisite dark and vampy purple!  The shimmer is subtle but lavish!  I applied two coats.

With this collection comes a sheet with some nail art techniques.  There are also some designs on the back of the box.  I decided to do the dry brush design, but I did it a little different than the instructions they provided.

I did use the entire collection in the design.  It might have been one lacquer too many but I do see a fun Autumn design.

Every single one of these lacquers was amazing! The formula is spot on, with smooth application and perfect coverage.  I can't wait to try some stamping with the cremes!  The only downside is the size.  I will be coveting East End...please, please please make a full size!!

Available at butterlondon.com, Macy's and Nordstrom; $15.00.
