The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents: Stripes - Autumn Stripes and Leaves and a Glam My Mani Review

I figured that I would just keep rolling with my NCC designs!  Today starts a new month and a new NCC theme.  This month we are doing stripes!  I already have some ideas, I hope I am able to pull them off.

I decided to start the month off with an Autumn design.

The base of my design is one coat of Nails Inc. Fenchurch Street.  I went with one coat because the coverage is pretty good and I was going to cover most of it.  Also this image does not show true color.  All the brown has been washed out.  It really isn't this orange in person.

I was going to stamp my stripes but I was sent some awesome nail vinyls from Glam My Mani  for review!  Check these out!

The vinyls were easy to apply and stayed in place while I applied my top color.  Removal was super easy and left me with clean, crisp lines.  I can't wait to try the rest of them!  Just look at the results to see how awesome they are!

I used Nails Inc. The Thames to create my strips.

Once my stripes were dry, I added some leaves.  I used Black Taxi and BMH11.

To make my leaves pop, I filled them in using Victoria, Wardour Mews and New Burlington Place.

I was really worried these would look horrible.  I can say that I am extremely happy to be wrong!  They are so unique and have a fantastic Autumn look.  The shimmer leaves are my absolute favorite part.  Can you tell how much I love this "leadlight" technique?!?

If you are interested in checking out Glam My Mani, head over to their website and see all of the vinyls!  There is a great sale going on and free shipping!
