Happy Be-lated Easter everyone! I meant to post this last Friday but time got away from me. I had a busy week and then I had to get ready to run away with the hubby. I talked him into going to Washington D.C. for Easter. We left Friday morning and had an amazing time! We packed so much into three days. If you didn't know, the Smithsonian Museums and some other sights are free, so there is tons to do. Unfortunately the museums are only open until 5:30. We have a lot on our list for the next visit.
Before I left I created a soft and subtle Easter design. I told you that you would see that soft flower design again!
I started with two coats of Models Own White Light. I have had this polish sitting unused for quite awhile. I finally broke it out and I love it! Such a clean, crisp white! It was almost opaque in one coat. Future stamper!
I decided to use some soft pastels to create my flowers. I used Banana Split, Beth's Blue, Peach Sherbet and Lilac Dream. It is such an easy and fun design to create!
Instead of going "all" Easter I kept it simple with a bunny. This image came from MoYou London Princess 09. I applied it using Milani Black Swift. I recently picked up a bottle of holo glitter topper from Essence and decided to try it out on this design. Unfortunately it smeared my bunny! It smeared my left hand worse, that's why you get to see my right! The hand that never gets any love!
And the left hand. I used a dotting tool to add some dots to the bunny's face. This did a nice job hiding the smears.
I hope you all had a nice Easter!
