The Digit-al Dozen Does: Childhood - Green Dress

Today's Childhood design is inspired by a special childhood memory.  As the youngest of two, in a poor family, I ended up with a lot of my older sister's hand-me-downs.  I don't remember complaining about it or even being unhappy about it.  I don't even think I cared.  I had other things to worry about, like playing in the dirt and climbing trees (or reading a book).  But there was one thing - a green and white dress.   My sister was given a handmade green and white dress by my grandmother.  It was a simple dress, no sparkle or shine, but it was amazing.  To me it was the perfect princess dress.  I wanted that dress so bad.  Unfortunately my sister wasn't willing to give it up.  Damn her!  I know that I got to wear it once or twice.  IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MINE!!!  Ok, calming down now.....

This design was created in memory of that dress.  Wherever it is now.

I started with two coats of Sozzled.  Love this green!

I used Cotton Buds and a small dotting tool to add the base of my flowers.

Each flower center got one Pimms dot.

And one or two Union Jack Black dot(s).

And a bonus, my stupid sister wearing the dress.  Of course there are no pictures of me wearing it! It looked better on me!

Stop by and see the amazing designs the other ladies are creating!
