It should be no surprise that I would do Doctor Who design for fandom week. Yes, I have done many Doctor Who inspired designs but I would not have been happy with myself if I didn't do another one!
Instead of doing an all in your face design, I decided to keep it simple. I have been wanting to do a pastel galaxy manicure for some time and it seems like just the place the Doctor would visit!
I started with one coat of Rica Whiteout. This polish has pretty good coverage in one coat which is all I needed. I wasn't worried about streaks because I would be covering up most of the white.
I used small pieces of a make up sponge and the following colors to create my pastel galaxy - Parfait Day, Once in a Blue Mousse, Lavendairy and Crema De Limon. I randomly and lightly sponged each color over my nails.
I lightly sponged Whiteout over each nail to blend the colors. I also added some stars using a small nail art brush and dotting tool.
I added some more stars with one coat of Northern Lights.
Lastly, I had the T.A.R.D.I.S. flying through my galaxy! I used Jr31 and Ink Spot.
I think the Doctor would approve!
Nice design even I so feel left out of a movement because I have no idea who this doctor who is. Well, anyway I have ink spot and was wondering if it stamped and now I know it does.
