The Digit-al Dozen Does: Neon - Watermarble

For Day Two I decided to challenge myself with a watermarble.  I think this is the third, maybe fourth, one I have ever done.  I never like how they turn out so I tend to avoid them.  Plus the clean up, gah!  Thanks to some new products, specifically clean up, I decided to give it another go.

It's not as good as I would like but it's not terrible!

I started with one coat of Blank Canvas.  No need to have good coverage.  I'm just going to cover it with the marble.

I went through all the steps to create the marble.  Maybe I should have taken pictures but I didn't...sorry.  I used my fabulous Color Club neons, bright and shimmery!  The colors are Right On, Foxy Mama, Kapow! and Not So-Mellow Yellow.

I wanted to try and hide the bad bits and thought dots!  I used Black Out and a dotting tool to add them.

This watermarble is probably the best I have done so far.  The colors are bright and fun and, other than the index finger, it actually looks like a watermarble.  Little pat on the back for me!

Stop by and see what the other ladies came up with!

  2. It turned out to be a great...especially with the dots! Marbling is such a pain...even with cleanup products (though they are a lifesaver)

  6. Lovely! I cannot get a water marble to work. I was trying to blame it on the hard Pittsburgh water but guess I can't do that anymore.

  9. Fabulous water marble! Love the added dots too. I haven't tried a marble since the arrival of all the different latex/glue to help with clean up.
