This summer OPI added two new shades to their Coca Cola Collection. These two shades were added because it is the 100th anniversary of the iconic Coca Cola glass bottle. Here is a little background and information about this collaboration:
In 1915, The Glass Root Company designed the now classic contoured glass Coca-Cola bottle in Terre Haute, Indiana. One hundred years later, this unique bottle has become one of the most globally revered packages ever created. To celebrate this milestone, OPI created an exclusive Icons of Happiness nail color collection, featuring two new shades and six classic colors that pay homage to the bottle’s bold color and signature style. OPI – the world’s number one nail salon brand – is also no stranger to iconic bottles. Along with the Coca-Cola bottle, the OPI bottle’s matte black handle and distinctive silhouette make it one of the world’s most recognizable nail lacquer bottles. Now, enjoy the essence of one legendary image alongside another, with the new OPI and Coca-Cola Summer Collection.
Visions of Georgia Green - sheer green duochrome with flecks of green holo. I thought this green was quite pretty. It was a tad too sheer for two coats so I added a third. It is a soft statement shade that is extremely reminiscent of the original green bottle. I did my best to try and capture the effect of the flecks but they were difficult to capture in the photo.
Centennial Celebration - fine pewter glitter. I love this lacquer! It has this fantastic vintage feel to it and looks amazing! I had to apply three coats for full coverage. This is going to be an amazing accent for nail art!
Both of these shades are beautiful additions to the Coca Cola Collection. If you want to see the rest of the shades click here to see the review.
